A traditional Irish recipe for pancakes that really does bubble and squeak while you make them. A favorite at our house for St. Patrick's Day.

Ingredients

  • 3 T butter
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 c shredded cabbage boiled for 15 minutes
  • 2 c mashed potatoes

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all together. Melt butter in a pan and drop by tablespoonfuls forming pancakes in the pan until brown on both sides.
