Larabar: Chocolate

  • 7 medjool dates pitted
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup almonds
  • 1 T water

Preparation

Step 1

In the food processor, pulse the almonds until finely chopped. Pour into a bowl and set aside.

In the now emptly food processor, mix the dates and water until a paste forms.

Add in the cocoa powder and almonds and continue to pulse until a dough comes together.

Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment leaving enough room for some to stick out the sides. That way the bars will be easier to pull out. Or scoop and roll into 1 Tbsp. balls.

Place in the fridge to firm up for a couple hours.
