German Apple Cake

Ingredients
- 4 C peeled and sliced apples (4 or 5 medium)
- 3 eggs
- 1 C vegetable oil
- 2 C sugar
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 t baking soda
- 2 t cinnamon
- 1/2 t salt
- 2 C flour-packed

Preparation
Step 1
Spray Pam inside 9 x 13 cake pan. Place sliced apples on the bottom.
In bowl, whisk eggs with oil until thick. Add sugar. Mix in vanilla, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Mix thoroughly. Gradually add flour. Drop batter over apples.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Cool
Frosting
8 oz. softened cream cheese
2 t vanilla
1 T lemon juice
4 T melted butter
2 C powdered sugar
