Boston Clam Chowder

Boston Clam Chowder is an easy weeknight New England clam chowder recipe, filled with potatoes, bacon, and yummy clams!

Ingredients
- 3 slices bacon (diced)
- 1 onion (diced)
- 2 6.5 oz cans chopped clams
- 12 oz evaporated milk
- 2 10.75 oz cans cream of potato soup
- 2 potatoes (peeled and diced small)
- salt to taste
- oyster crackers for garnish
Preparation
Step 1
Saute the diced bacon and onion in a soup pot over medium heat until onion is soft and translucent.
Add in chopped clams with juice, evaporated milk, cream of potato soup, and diced potatoes. Bring to a boil stirring, and then reduce heat to a simmer.
Continue cooking 25 minutes stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender. Add salt to taste.
Serve warm with oyster crackers.
