Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups crisp
- 1 egg
- 4 - to 6 tablespoons cold water
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
Preparation
Step 1
Combine flour and salt; cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Combine egg, water and vinegar. Stir or use hands until mixture forms a ball. Roll on flat surface.
Makes crust for 2 double crust pies.
P.S. I find 4 tablespoons cold water is enough. If not add a small amount more
