Sour Cream Noodle Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 8-oz. pkg. medium egg noodles
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 8-oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook egg noodles, drain and rinse. Add cottage cheese, sour cream and green onion.

Fry ground beef, drain and add tomato sauce, mushrooms and seasonings.

Spoon 1/2 the noodle mixture into a 2 1/2 qt. casserole. Cover with 1/2 the meat mixture. Repeat layers once again. Top with cheese.

Bake 350° oven for 35 minutes.
