Ingredients
- 6 to 8 potatoes, cooked, cubed
- 1 carrot, cooked, cubed
- 1/2 C milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 C chopped onions
- 1/2 C wheat germ
- 2 C tomato sauce
- 1 C green beans
- pepper to taste
- 1 to 2 C shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Mash potatoes and carrot with milk in bowl; beat in egg. Brown ground beef/turkey and onion in skillet, stirring until meat is crumbly; drain. Add green beans; cook until tender. Stir in wheat germ, tomato sauce, corn, and pepper; mix well. Pour into 3-qt. casserole dish. Spread with mashed potatoes; top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
