Ingredients
- 12 tomatillos husked and chopped (should be about two cups)
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 3 serrano chiles, stems removed, diced
- 1/4 cup of diced onion
- 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
- 2 teaspoons of lime juice (or to taste)
- A small pinch of sugar
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons of peanut oil
Preparation
Step 1
Throw all the ingredients except for the peanut oil into the blender, and blend until it has a smooth consistency.
In a pan, heat up the peanut oil, and pour the blended salsa into the pan and cook, stirring for about five minutes.
Can serve hot or cold.
