  • 4 lbs Ripe Tomatoes
  • 5 cups sugar
  • 1 lemon



Step 1

Scald and peel tomatoes, leave whole. Add sugar to tomatoes and let stand overnight. Add thinly sliced lemon and cook until the mixture is thick and clear.
