Ingredients
- ● 4/5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ● 2 limes; zested
- ● 1/2 cup lime juice
- ● 5 tbsps. olive oil
- ● 2 oz. tequila
- ● 1/2 cup water
- ● 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- ● 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- ● 1 tsp salt
- ● 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
- ● 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- ● 2 cloves of garlic, pressed
- ● 1/2 cup onion, red finely chopped
Preparation
Step 1
1. Place chicken breasts in slow cooker
2. Prepare the remaining ingredients as stated above and pour over chicken breasts
3. Cook on low for 4 hours or until tender and easily tears apart
4. Place chicken in taco shells/wraps and serve with salsa
