Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 7 1/2 oz tomatos, cut up
- 2 tablespoons oats, rolled
- 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons of chili powder
- 1 to 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- dash of hot pepper sauce
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
Preparation
Step 1
In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, onion, and green pepper; drain off liquids.
Stir in the undrained tomatoes, 1/4 cup water, chili powder, worcestershire sauce, garlic salt and hot pepper sauce. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered for 5 to 10 minutes or till desired consistency is reached.
