Ingredients
- 1 cup ground flax
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (nut oil could work too, just not sesame or peanut, a mild tasting one)
- 1 mashed banana or handful mashed blueberries or carob chips (optional)
- a sprinkle of salt
- a sprinkle of cinnamon
Preparation
Step 1
Mix all ingredients in food processor. Make little patties. You can eat this now if you don't have a dehydrator, or set them in the sun. I only use a dehydrator because they get warm! Then you can add sliced fruit (I make mine plain flax and then add fruit on top) to the top. You can use maple syrup (not raw, but do what you can), or I mix agave with a TEENSY TINY bit of vanilla. It is easy to over do the vanilla. But you could use orange extract or a fruit juice to mix and make flavored syrup too.
