Belgian Beef & Beer Stew
- 6 pounds boneless beef stewing cubes
- 1 (12 ounce) bottle beer
- 2 T soy sauce
- 1 T chopped garlic
- 1 cup frozen chopped onion
- 1 (14 ounce) can beef broth
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 (0.87 ounce) envelopes brown gravy mix
Combine all ingredients in the crock. Cover and cook on Low for 10 hours or High for 5 hours.
NOTES: Try browning the beef cubes before placing in crock. Use beef broth to de-glaze the pan.
