Sausage Roll

Ingredients

  • 2 cups baking powder biscuit mix
  • 1 pound sausage meat

Preparation

Step 1

Making baking powder biscuit dough according to package directions. Divide into 4 equal portions.

Roll out each portion about 1/4 inch thick on lightly floured board. Spread with sausage meat. Roll in waxed paper. Freeze.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

Cut rolls into thin slices; place on baking sheet; bake in preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes.

For variation use ground ham mixed with mustard in place of sausage meat.
