Ingredients
- Beat together:
- 1 Stick Oleo, melted
- 1 C. Water
- 3 T. Cocoa
- 2 C. Flour
- 2 C. Sugar
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- Add 2 eggs and 1/2 C. Buttermilk or sour milk (1 T. Vinegar added to 1/2 C Milk) Bake in jellyroll pan for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Filling:
- 1 C Sugar
- 1 C. Crisco
- 1/2 C Milk
- 1 T Water
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- Beat for 5 minutes and add 1 C. Powdered Sugar. Spreat on colled cake.
- Frosting:
- 1 1/2 C Sugar
- 9 T Oleo
- 9 T. Milk
- Boil 1 minute and add 2 1/4 C Choc Chips. Beat until thick. Frost Cake. Cut when cool.
- These bars freeze well.
