Ingredients
- 2 frozen bananas, chopped
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 cup raw macadamia nuts (soaked in water for 3 hours)
- Pinch of unrefined sea salt
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons coconut butter
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup cacao powder
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons #cacao nibs
Preparation
Step 1
Place all ingredients except for the cacao nibs in a high speed blender (such as a #Vitamix) & process until smooth and creamy. Transfer mixture to freezer for 15 minutes.
Pour mixture into an ice cream maker. Turn the ice cream maker on and follow the manufacturers instructions. While the ice cream maker is churning, slowly add the cacao nibs. Let ice cream churn for about 15 minutes. Serve cold.
