Biscuit Beef Casserole

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1/4 cup chopped onoin
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 cup frozen veggies, thawed
- 1/2 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese
- 1 (6oz)tube flakey buttermilk biscuits
- 1 tsp butter, melted
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano

Preparation
Step 1
1. Cook beef and onoin until no longer pink; drain.
2. Stir in water, sauce, paste and pepper. Bring to a boil.
3. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in veggies and 1/4 cup cheese.
4. Transfer to a greased 1 QT baking dish.
5. Seperate biscuits horizontally and arrange around the edge of the baking dish. Brush with butter and sprinkle with oregano.
6. Sprinkle remaining cheese over beef filling. Bake, uncovered, at 375 for 18-22 minutes.
