Ingredients
- 5 lb standing rib roast, bone in
- 1 T Paula's house seasoning
Preparation
Step 1
Allow the roast to stand at room temp for an hour. Preheat oven to 375.
Rub the roast with Paula's seasoning. Place the roast rib side down, fatty side up in a roasting pan and roast for one hour. Turn off the oven and don't open the door.
About one hour and ten minutes before serving, turn the oven back on to 375 and roast for 30-45 minutes. Remove the roast, tent with foil and let it sit for 25 min before carving.
