Sauteed Tilapia with Almonds

Ingredients

  • 2 ea Tilapia Filets
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 1 dash Pepper, coarsely ground
  • 1 Tbs Flour
  • 2 Tbs Clarified Butter, divided
  • ¼ C Almonds, sliced
  • 1 Tbs Lemon juice
  • 1 Tbs Fresh parsley, snipped

Step 1

Season tilapia with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour, shaking off excess; set aside. Heat 1 T of butter over medium heat. Add almonds, cook and stir until lightly browned, about 4 minutes. Remove almonds from skillet and set aside.

Add remaining 1 T of butter to skillet and add tilapia. Cook over medium heat 4-6 minutes or until it flakes easily with a fork, turning once. Drizzle with lemon juice. Remove from skillet and sprinkle with almonds and parsley.
