Ingredients

  • 1

    cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated

  • ½

    cup cream cheese, softened

  • ½

    cup beer, see notes for alternatives

  • ½

    teaspoon dry mustard

  • ½

    teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 1

    Tablespoon prepared horseradish

  • 1

    Tablespoon parsley, minced

  • 1

    teaspoon fine sea salt

Directions

Place all ingredients into a food processor and pulse until blended. Mixture may have some small lumps. Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes before serving. Note: light beers may be great for sipping, but this recipe needs something with more body. You may substitute water for an alcohol-free version, but it will thin out the flavor, so you may want to increase the horseradish.
