Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground round
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Chile powder
  • 1 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1 cup macaroni, uncooked
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • sliced mozzarella cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Brown meat and onion. Add chilli powder, salt, and tomato sauce (not soup) and mix well. Cover skillet and steam for 20 minutes. Cook macaroni and add to skillet, mixing well. Put half of the mixture in a casserole. Top with mozzarella slices and remaining meat mixture. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, and spread mushroom soup evenly over all.

* Needs a little more kick to it. Maybe add a small can of sliced mushrooms, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.

Bake 350° for 30 minutes.
