Cheryl's buttercream icing recipe

Ingredients

• One of many copy cat recipes
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup butter flavor Crisco
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1/8 tsp. salt
• 5 cups confectioners sugar

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl, cream butter and shortening until fluffy and light. Add vanilla, confectioners sugar, salt and milk. Beat well.
