Ingredients

  • 2-28 oz jars diced tomatoes (unseasoned, with juice)
  • 3 chopped yellow onions
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes (for a spicy little kick)
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 bay leaves

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onion and garlic
Add tomatoes and all other seasonings
Put in a blender until smooth
Put in crockpot and cook for 4 hours

Garnish with sour cream, greek yogurt, or Parmesan cheese if desired.
