Ingredients
- 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 (4 oz.) container crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tsp. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley
- cucumber slices, grape tomatoes, kalamata olives, whole almonds
Preparation
Step 1
1. Beat first 5 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until well combined. Cover tightly, and chill at least 1 hour or until firm. Store in refrigerator up to 3 days.
2. Roll cheese mixture into 3/4" round balls. Roll each ball in chopped parsley. Serve immediately, or cover and chill until ready to serve. If chilled, let stand 30 minutes before serving. Serve with cucumber slices, grape tomatoes, kalamata olives, and whole almonds.
Gorgonzola Truffles: Substitute 1 (4 oz.) container crumbled Gorgonzola cheese for feta cheese and 1/2 c. cooked and crumbled bacon for chopped parsley. Serve with apple and pear slices and grapes.
Goat Cheese Truffles: Substitute 1 (4 oz.) container crumbled goat cheese for feta and 1/2 c. toasted chopped pecans for chopped parsley. Serve with sliced dried figs and apricots
