Caramel Apple Dessert

Ingredients

  • 60

    Nilla wafers

  • 1/3

    cup butter, melted

  • 1

    (8-ounces) cream cheese

  • 1/4

    cup sugar

  • 3 1/4

    cups milk

  • 1

    (8-ounces) cool whip

  • 2

    packages (3.4- ounces) instant vanilla pudding

  • 1/2

    cup caramel topping

  • 1 each

    red and green apple chopped

  • 1/4

    cup peanuts chopped

Directions

Mix wafer crumbs and butter. Press into bottom of 9x13 pan. Beat cream cheese, sugar and 1/4 Cup milk with mixer. Stir in 1 Cup cool whip, spread over the crust. Beat pudding with remaining milk (3 cups) with a whisk, about 2 minutes. Stir in 1/4 cup of caramel. Spoon over cream cheese layer, top with remaining cool whip. Refrigerate 5 hours. Top with chopped apples, nuts and remaining caramel just before serving.
