Ingredients
- Base:
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup lightly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup of chopped pecans
- Topping:
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 25-30 kraft caramels
- 1/4 butter
Preparation
Step 1
Combine base ingredients until crumbly, stir in eggs and nuts. Mix well, reserve 1 1/2 cups of crumb mix
press remainder firmly on bottom of 9x13 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 mins
topping:
heat sweetened milk, caramels and butter in a saucepan on low heat stirring constantly until smoothly melted
Pour over crust, sprinkle rest of crumbs evenly on top.
Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Cool completely, cut into bars.
