Easy Oven-Baked French Toast

Ingredients

  • 16 slices white sandwich bread, cut into 1"cubes
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 12 large eggs
  • 2 c. whipping cream
  • 1/2 c. maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. maple flavoring

Preparation

Step 1

Place bread cubes in a lightly greased 13x9x2" baking dish, and set aside. Beat cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth; add eggs and next 3 ingredients, beating until blended. Pour over bread cubes; cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Remove from refrigerator; let stand at room temperature 30 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-50 degrees or until set, covering with foil after 25 minutes. Serve with additional syrup.
