Dressed-Up Tomato Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 (28 oz.) can Italian-seasoned diced tomatoes
  • 1 (32 oz.) container chicken broth
  • 1 (26 oz.) can tomato soup
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
  • Toppings: sour cream, chopped fresh parsley, basil, chives, or rosemary; croutons, freshly grated Parmesan cheese; lemon zest

Preparation

Step 1

Pulse tomatoes in a food processor 3-4 times or until finely dices. Stir together tomatoes and next 3 ingredients in a Dutch oven. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Serve with desird toppings. NOTE: This recipe was tested with Progresso Diced Tomatoes With Italian Herbs.
