Decadent Deviled Eggs*

Ingredients

  • 6 hard boiled eggs
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked until crisp and finely chopped
  • 1 large shallot, minced
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 heaping tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. white wine vinegar
  • salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • 12 drops Tobasco sauce, or to taste
  • paprika to garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Peel eggs and cut in half. Remove yolks and place in medium bowl. Add the remaining ingredients except paprika, and mash with fork. I desired, fill a pastry bag, use with large star tip, and pipe yolk mixture into eggs. Sprinkle with paprika and chill.
