Ingredients
- 6-8 Yams (fresh or canned in light syrup)
- 6-8 Cooking Apples, peeled
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Corn Starch
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 2 Cups Boiling Water
- 1/2 Cup Margarine
- Cinnamon to taste

Step 1
Slice yams and apples and set aside. Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan. Add water and margarine. Stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Spray Pam in a 2 quart baking dish, and layer yams and apples. Pour sauce over. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Yield: 12 servings.
