Ingredients
- Cake:
- 1 pkg. (18 1/4 oz) reduced-fat devil’s food cake mix
- 8 oz. nonfat plain yogurt
- 1/2 C. orange juice
- 1/2 C. water
- 1/2 C. egg substitute
- 2 T. unsweetened applesauce
- 2 T. grated orange peel
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- Glaze:
- 1 C. confectioners’ sugar
- 2 T. baking cocoa
- 2 T. orange juice
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, combine the first eight ingredients; beat on low speed for 1 minute. Coat a 10-inch fluted tube pan with nonstick cooking spray and dust with flour. Pour batter into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool completely. Combine glaze ingredients; drizzle over cake.
