Ingredients

  • 2

    C semi-sweet, bittersweet or milk chocolate chips

  • 1-1/2

    C assorted unsalted nuts

  • 1/2 to 1

    tsp of salt

  • Additional finely chopped nuts

Directions

Line a rimmed baking sheet with tin foil, taking care to avoid wrinkles. Melt 2 C semisweet, bittersweet OR milk chocolate chips. To melt chocolate, place chocolate in the top of a double boiler over hot water, but not boiling. Stir until melted. Combine the melted chocolate and salt with 1-1/2 C assorted unsalted nuts in a medium bowl. Spread the mixture into an approximate 12 by 9 inch rectangle on the foil. Sprinkle additional finely chopped nuts on top, if desired. Refrigerate until set. Break of cut into 1-1/2 inch pieces.
