Ingredients
- ● 1/2 cup shortening
- ● 1 1/2 cups sugar
- ● 3 egg whites- beaten
- ● 1 cup milk
- ● 2 1/2 cups flour
- ● 4 tsp baking powder
- ● 1/2 tsp salt
- ● 1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
1. Cream shortening
2. Add sugar gradually and mix well
3. Add beaten egg yolks and cream again
4. Add dry ingredients, milk and vanilla
5. Fold in egg whites which have been beaten
6. Grease & flour pan
7. Bake at 350*F for 3 minutes
Frosting on back of confectioners’ sugar box-- add 1 egg white & almond flavor
