Ingredients
- Topping:
- 1/3 C. packed brown sugar
- 1 T. all-purpose flour
- 2 T. butter, softened
- 1/2 C. chopped nuts
- 12 oz. package semi-sweet chocolate mini morsels, divided
- Cake:
- 1 3/4 C. all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 C. granulated sugar
- 1/2 C. butter, softened
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 C. sour cream
Preparation
Step 1
1. For Topping: Combine brown sugar, flour and butter in small bowl with pastry blender until crumbly. Stir in nuts and ½ cup morsels.
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13x9-inch baking pan.
3. For Cake: Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat granulated sugar, butter and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually add flour mixture alternately with sour cream. Fold in remaining 1 ½ cups morsels. Spread into prepared pan; sprinkle with topping.
4. Bake for 25-35 minutes or until done. Cool in pan on wire rack.
