Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup elbow macaroni
  • 3 TBS all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 TBS butter
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1.2 cup shredded cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cook macaroni in boiling salt water till tender, then drain.
2. Melt butter; blend in flour and milk. Cook and stir till thick.
3. add salt, pepper, and cheese. Stir till cheese is melted. Mix sauce with macaroni.
4. Turn into 1 1/2 quart Casserole.
5. Bake in 350 degree oven about 45 minutes (or till bubbly and browned).
