Chocolate Crinkle Cups

Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 tsp. shortening
  • 1 (1 oz.) squares chocolate-flavored candy coating

Step 1

Combine chocolate morsels and shortening in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil, stirring until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Spoon into a small bowl, and set aside. Melt candy coating in top of double boiler, stirring until smooth. Using a small artist brush, paint about a 1/8" layer of candy ocating on isde of miniature foil baking cups. Chill 10 minutes. Paint a thick layer of melted chocolate morsels over candy coating. Chill at least 1 hour. Carefully peel off foil cups. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator until ready to serve. Fill chocolate cups with mousse etc.
