Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 small sweet onion sliced
  • 1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup (DO NOT DILUTE)
  • 1/8 cup of butter divided
  • 1 cup of cheddar cheese divided
  • 8 x8 baking pan

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl combine, potatoes, onion and soup. Layer the mixture in baking pan and then put 1/2 butter followed by 1/2 cheese. Repeat the next layer and preheat oven and bake 350 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes (until potatoes are tender.
