Ingredients
- Marbled Colby or Monterey Jack cheese
- Mini round crackers (like Ritz)
- Softened cream cheese
- Sliced strawberries, lengthwise
- Triangular crackers (like Triscuit)
- Thin pretzel sticks
- Small grape tomatoes
- Small mozzarella balls
Preparation
Step 1
Cut the cheese into 1/4-inch thick slices. Kids can help cut out circles of cheese using a small round cookie cutter. Show your child how to sandwich the cheese between the crackers, then stack the pieces and let your little one make sandwiches.
Spoon the softened cream cheese into a resealable bag. Snip a small corner from the bag. Arrange a few sliced strawberries on top of the crackers. Pipe a triangle on top of the strawberry.
Show your child how to insert a pretzel stick into a tomato on one end and a cheese ball on the other. Voila--a barbell snack!
