Preparation

Step 1

Slice up your green peppers and onions, get a skillet and melt a bit of butter to coat the bottom then throw in your veggies, season with salt and cook until soft. Meanwhile, with a very sharp knife, start cutting the ribeye. Angle it in a slant and slice as thin as you can get. Once the veggies are cooked, place them on a plate or bowl to set aside. Put a little but of more butter again, and then throw in your steak. Season the meat well. Meanwhile, butter your buns, both sides face up, and sprinkle just a bit of garlic salt over them, while they are placed on a baking sheet. Turn the oven to Broil and put them in the oven to broil for just a few minutes, until golden brown. When the steak is about half done, throw back in all your veggies and cook all together until done. Take the buns out, throw a good amount of the philly cheese steak mixture on them and then place the provolone on top, throw back under the broiler for just a tad longer to get the cheese to melt and you're done! Eat with lots of ketchup!
