Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

• 2 med potatoes, peeled & cut 1/2: cubes
• 5 garlic cloves, peeled & halved
• 3/4 tsp salt, divided
• 2 TBL butter, softened
• 1-2 TBL heavy whipping cream

Preparation

Step 1

place potatoes, garlic & 1/4 tsp salt in sm. sauce pan

cover w/ water
bring to boil
reduce heat
cover & simmer for 10 min or until potatoes are tender
drain

in sm. mixing bowl, mash potatoes & garlic
add butter, cream & remaining salt
beat until smooth
