Ingredients
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (4oz each)
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 10 cloves garlic, peeled
- 1-1/2 tsp canola or veggie oil
- 5 TBL chicken broth, divided
- 1/4 C dry white wine or additional chicken broth
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1-1/2 tsp cornstarch
Preparation
Step 1
season chicken w/ S
in skillet, cook chicken & garlic in oil for 4-6 min
add 4 TBL broth, wine or additional broth, lemon juice, basil & oregano
reduce heat
cover & simmer for 6-8 min or until chicken juices run clear
transfer chicken to serving platter & keep warm
in sm. bowl, combine cornstarch & remaining broth until smooth
stir into skillet
bring to boil
cook & stir for 1 min or until thickened
spoon sauce over chicken
