  • 1/2 Cup (1 stick) butter, melted
  • 1 3/4 Cups sugar
  • 3 Tbs all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 Cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 unbaked 9-in deep-dish pie crust

1. Combine butter, sugar, flour, eggs, buttermilk, vanilla, netmeg and salt in large bowl; whisk until smooth.

2. Pour mixture into pie crust. Bake 45 to 50 mins, until golden and a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

3. Cool completely on a wire rack. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until serving time.
