Ingredients

  • 9 " unbaked pie crust
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 3 eggs,slightly beaten
  • 1/3 c, unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 t. pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c. pecan halves/pieces

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. In a saucepan, warm butter, corn syrup and vanilla. In a large mixing bowl, combine corn syrup mixture with eggs,and salt. Mix well and pour into pie crust (he used tart pan). Sprinkle with pecan halves.

Place pan on baking sheet with parchment paper, Bake for 55 to 60 minutes until center is set.
