Freezer Mashed Potatoes

Have mashed potatoes ready to microwave in just a few minutes to be used as you please!

Ingredients
- 5 lbs potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 1/2 cups chicken or vegie broth (for crockpot)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 6 oz cream cheese at room temp.
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp salt, onion & garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Place cut potatoes into a slow cooker and pour broth over top of potatoes.
Cook potatoes on high for 4 1/2 hours or until tender (also can do on stove top) or 6 to 8 hours on low.
mash potatoes and add sour cream, butter, salt pepper, and cream cheese. mix until creamy.
freeze mashed potatoes in a covered tin or air tight container with the amount of serving per carton. Microwave on high stirring to blend all together.
