Apple Crumb Pie

This yummy pie comes for my Aunt Cheryl. I had to beg for the recipe because I LOVE this apple pie. Whenever she makes pie for a holiday I cross my fingers she brings this one!

Ingredients
- Pie
- 1 pie crust
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 5 1/2 c. peeled and thinly sliced apples
- 1/3 c. butterscotch caramel ice cream sauce
- Crumb Topping
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. four
- 1/2 c. quick oats
- 1/2 c. butter
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place pastry in 9" deep dish pie pan.
In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Toss the apples with in this mixture. Pour into the pie crust.
Thoroughly combine the crumb topping ingredients. Sprinkle the topping over the apple mixture.
Bake the pie for 20-30 minutes. Then cover with foil and bake for another 20 minutes until the apples are tender. Remove pie from oven and drizzle with butterscotch caramel ice cream sauce.
Cool.
