Ingredients
- 2 cups dry split peas
- 2 quarts water
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 4 slices Canadian Bacon, chopped
- 2 Tbs Chicken bouillon granules, or 2 chicken bouillon cubes.
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4-1/2 tsp pepper
Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker
2. Cover. Cook on low 6-8 hours.
For creamier soup, remove half of soup when done and puree. Stir back into rest of soup.
