Spelt Tortillas

Ingredients

  • 2 c spelt flour
  • 1 1/2 t salt
  • 1 1/2 t baking powder
  • 3/4-1 c hot water
  • Optional garlic powder

Preparation

Step 1

Mix dry ingredients. Add 3/4 c hot water. Mix. If too dry, add more hot water, tablespoon at a time. Cover and rest for 20 minutes. Divided into 8 equal balls. Cover and let rest 20 minutes. Roll out into circle, very thin, dusting counter with more flour. Cook in hot skillet for about a minute per side.
