Chef Lou Lambert's Famous Coffee Dry Rub

This was invented by the well-known Austin, TX chef for his famous smoked brisket, but he loves it on ribs as well.

Ingredients

  • 2 c light brown sugar
  • 1 c chili powder
  • 1/4 c paprika
  • 1/4 c kosher salt
  • 1/2 c medium ground black pepper
  • 1/4 c finely ground dark roast coffee

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a med bowl. Stir to combine well. Rub on meat before cooking.
