Ingredients
- 1 lb sausage
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 packages McCormick Sausage Flavor Country Gravy Mix
- 6 slices bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Preparation
Step 1
This is one of our new favorite breakfast casseroles. It was so easy to make. It can be made ahead and refrigerated until you are ready to bake it. The casserole has great flavor with the addition of the sausage gravy, and we both really loved the crispy bread on top. I topped the casserole with some extra sausage gravy because we love sausage gravy!
6 eggs, beaten
2 packages McCormick Sausage Flavor Country Gravy Mix
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Cook sausage in large skillet on medium heat until brown. Drain sausage. Spread in lightly greased 11x7-inch baking dish. Sprinkle cheese over sausage.
Beat eggs, water, milk and 1 packet gravy mix in medium bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Pour over cheese. Arrange bread cubes evenly over mixture. Drizzle butter over bread.
Prepare additional package of McCormick Sausage Country Gravy Mix as directed on package. Serve with casserole.

you are gonna make me bust my diet!
Sorry, this is probably a dumb question, but if I want to make this the night before, what step do I stop at? Will the bread get soggy if I make the whole thing and stick it in the fridge? Thanks for your help!
OMG! And that's how I pinned it! Love sausage and gravey. And your picture makes it irresitable!
