Ingredients
- 8 oz. lasagna noodles
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1 T. minced onion
- 1/8 t. garlic powder
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 3 oz. can mushrooms, drained
- 1 10 oz. pkg. frozen cut asparagus (I use frozen peas because of a
- finicky husband!)
- 2 cups cubed cooked chicken
- 1 6 oz. pkg. mozzarella cheese
- 1 6 oz. pkg. thinly sliced ham
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Step 1
Cook noodles according to package directions, drain. In saucepan melt the butter, blend in flour, onion, garlic powder and 1/8 t. pepper. Add chicken broth and milk; cook and stir till bubbly. Stir in the first 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese and mushrooms. In a 9 X 13 X 2 inch baking dish layer half of the noodles, all the asparagus (or peas), chicken and mozzarella. Pour 1/3 of the milk mixture over. Top with ham, remaining noodles, remaining milk mixture and sprinkle with the other 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese.
Bake in a 350' oven for 35 minutes or until heated. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Makes 8 large servings.
